My scientific research:

I've been working on glass-particle-filled polypropylene (PP) composites. The task is to investigate the influence of fillers of different shape and size on the physics-mechanical properties of the composite. The fillers used are fibers, flakes and randomly-shaped. There are several problems that disturb the work, namely the fillers used are not as expected in regard to their shape and lack of effect of the treatment performed on the matrix and fillers. Investigation on mechanical properties, relaxation behaviour and thermal properties have been performed and the results are almost ready, but need to be explained. As always, this seems to be the main problem that I must solve :) However, any questions and suggestions are welcome!

Some of the things I like:

Aviation: What I really like in aviation are the perfect shape of the fuselage, the power gathered in this shape, the noise coming out from the engine and the trust of thousands horse powers fighting with the laws of the nature, giving one outstanding spectacle of the human genius. Well, in fact the three MiG-21 fighters that you see in the pic, tell some about all these impressions, but I think that one should attend at least one airshow to understand the feeling and become a real fan of the flying objects. I would be happy to meet people who share this interest of mine.

Photography: I really like making pictures, especially with my old camera (from those using film), where the objective adjustement makes the pleasure complete. Unfortunately I am not such a talent to show good pictures, but I like the feeling. As I don't have a good camera, currently I am making photos with a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 digital camera. IN the usual case, I am making pictures of people, who don't want so see neither me, nor the pictures afterwards. I am sorry about that, but I think that this is a kind of skill and therefore it must be developed :) Besides, I like such pictures, because people are as they are. Well most of all I am making pictures while sightseeing, walking, or having fun. And I think that everything deserves to be kept on a picture - the nature, the people and the interesting time we live in. Don't hesitate to go to the Links page and take a look at the links with pics I have put there. I am uploading new pics from time to time and I hope that you will like and buy some of them (that's a joke).

Bicycle riding: This is something that I really like because of 2 reasons: 1stly, because you are enjoying the environment (parks, smaller streets in the city or something else - there is always what to see) at the same time and 2ndly, because you are moving faster than simple walking. About the almost free cost of this entertainment I won`t say anything, but it is usually much better than the city transport. I don't like the extreme riding (there is no way to enjoy biking on the mountain slopes, which could be shortcut for one's sole on its way to the sky. Of course, one important thing is to share this activity with other people. I am working on the problem and I think that the next summer I will have good company, especially if I am not a skillful skating student.
